Professional Activities
Living in Brussels since 1994, I have focused on European Union law since then, assisting Italian and foreign companies in the work areas listed above and, more generally, in cases involving the application of European standards.
Having carried out my entire career path in the capital of Europe, I am able to analyse and, if possible, solve my clients’ problems with a genuinely European perspective, namely: by considering the remedies provided by EU law (e.g. complaints to the European Commission, complaints to the European Ombudsman, preliminary rulings pursuant to Article 267 TFEU) and by using, where appropriate, channels and tools available in Brussels (e.g. direct communication with the relevant Commission services and the comparison between the laws in force in the various Member States).
My activity therefore consists, first of all, in highly specialised consultancy in the various sectors of EU law, but also, where appropriate and/or necessary, in assisting clients before the Commission or its executive agencies, customs authorities of various Member States, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), or in litigation before Italian and European courts.
I started working with DFA as Of Counsel in July 2018.
