On 14 June 2022, at Confindustria Vicenza, Palazzo Bonin Longare, Alberto Dal Ferro and Andrea Cevese, together with the officer of DG Comp of the European Commission, Ms Kassiani Christodoulou, will be discussing about the new EU block exemption regulation on vertical restraints, entered into force as of 1 June 2022.
Vertical agreements are understandings between two or more companies operating at different levels of the commercial chain (agreements between manufacturers or suppliers of goods or services and their distributors) which must comply with EU principles on competition law in order not to be void. The VBER new provisions are particularly significant in B2B relationships and that is why we hope that a deeper confrontation will be helpful.
